The Charitable wing Nethra Joythi Trust and Sudarshanam take care of the economically weaker section of the society. In June 2003, The Eye Foundation has moved to an ultra modern facility in the heart of Coimbatore on D.B. Road, next to Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan.

Infrastructure
In this centrally air conditioned six storied building devoted exclusively for eye care, there are five operation theaters, 16 consulting rooms, 12 Optometry rooms and more than 40 in patient rooms of different category. A 200 seater auditorium, conference hall and hygienic cafeteria, laboratory, drug store and state of the art optical outlet ensure the very best in eye care and comforts. On 9th August 2007, in the heart of Tirupur, our new premises spread over 50,000 Square feet, was inaugurated. It replicates all the facilities that are available at Coimbatore like the latest Lasik treatment, Lasers for Retinal Diseases, Ocular Imaging, Field Analysers, Operating Microscope, Phacoemulsification and Vitrectomy units. Though the facilities available are comparable to the best world over, they are made available at a very reasonable price, affordable to all sections of the society. For taking care of the poorer section of the society the present hospital on Subramaniam Road in R.S.Puram has been converted as the charitable wing in the name of Rajalakshmi Nethralaya, in memory of our founder's beloved mother. Likewise a significant part of the new hospital premises at Tirupur, the “Thirumurthy Nethralaya” has been dedicated towards service to the poor.
